From 05 to 09 October 2015, at the headquarters of General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) in Hanoi, two short-term experts from Japan Customs worked together with GDVC officials concerned with a view to grasping the current practice of risk management at Vietnam Customs and identifying issues to be improved (Gap Analysis). This was the first activity for achieving Output 3 of the Project, "Strengthening the capacity of customs officials on risk management". Measures to improve the capacity in the area of risk management will be considered based on the result of the Gap Analysis in due course.
