Project News

On 26 November 2015, the first Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) of the Project was held at the headquarters of General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) in Hanoi. For GDVC, Mr. Vu Ngoc Anh, Deputy Director General, and the members of Project Management Unit (PMU) participated in the meeting. For JICA, a representative from Vietnam Office and all of three long-term experts assigned to the Project attended the meeting. Short-term experts from Japan Customs, who were on mission for activities of Output 1, also joined.

At the meeting, the participants from both JICA and GDVC reported the project activities implemented so far and the plan of future actions. Also, the progress of the activities was reviewed using Project Monitoring Sheets based on the Project Design Matrix (PDM) and the Plan of Operation (PO) for the Project.
