From 18 to 22 January 2016, at the headquarters of General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) in Hanoi, two short-term experts from Japan Customs participated in the 2nd meeting with Vietnam Customs officials in charge of Risk Management. During the meeting, both side discussed possible measures to fill the gaps between the current and expected status of work, which had been identified in the last mission, and clarified what should be done by Vietnam Customs in future. Based on the results achieved this time, the activities to strengthen the capacity of customs officials on risk management would follow.
