From 26 to 30 September 2016, the 3rd Risk Management Mission was conducted in which two short-term experts from Japan Customs participated. In the first half of the Mission, a workshop on risk assessment by using manifest information was held in Da Nang with the participation of about 30 officials from Risk Management Department of General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) and local customs. In the latter half of the Mission, long-term and short-term experts discussed with Risk Management Department of GDVC the course of actions to strengthen the capacity of customs officials on risk management. Based on the results of discussions, the activities on developing training curriculum and materials for risk management area will be carried out in due course.
