From 5 to 9 June 2017, the 6th Risk Management Mission was conducted in which two short-term experts from Japan Customs participated. In the first half of the Mission, a workshop on trader management and selectivity criteria was held in Hai Phong with the participation of approximately 40 officials from Risk Management (RM) Department of General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC), Vietnam Customs School and local customs department.

In the latter half of the Mission, Japanese experts discussed with RM Department and Vietnam Customs School the improvement of training curriculum and materials for RM based on the information provided by Japan Customs so far. The exchange of views on practices of trader management and selectivity criteria was also held between responsible officials of RM Department and Japanese experts.

In order to further realize the activity 3.4 "Conduct training for customs officials in RM" of Output 3 of the Project, the trainings, in which Vietnam Customs officials will become lecturers, will be held from the next mission.
