17th Short-term experts Mission for Enhancing Utilization of VNACCS

Between 8 and 12 January 2018, short-term experts (IT Assistance Mission) from Japan visited Hanoi, and the 2nd technical transfer session for General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) officials about the modification of VNACCS software was carried out continuously from previous month, and system integration testing was conducted for the software program modified by the trainees by means of OJT (On-the-Job Training) style as before, which has been completed successfully.

From 25 to 31 January 2018, short-term experts from Japan visited Hanoi. They had a series of meetings with GDVC officials concerned, including those from Customs IT and Statistics Department, and other related departments, in order to discuss quality evaluation on the modified program at the 2nd technical transfer training, improvement of security for the current system infrastructure, the draft report of the technical cooperation activities initiated in July 2017 and questions and answers of the cost estimation material for hardware renewal of VNACCS, and also both sides exchanged views on future course of technical cooperation.

These activities are the 17th missions of short-term experts for achieving Output 1 of the Project, "Identification of a direction of future course of action for enhancing the utilization of VNACCS". The continuous consideration will be conducted, on the basis of the result of the discussion during the mission.
