From 23 to 25 February 2018, short-term experts (IT Assistance Mission) from Japan visited Hanoi. They had a meeting with General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) officials from Customs IT and Statistics Department to discuss the contents of work for the improvement of security for the current system infrastructure on 23 February. They subsequently joined the system security enhancement implemented by GDVC and gave some operational advice on 24 and 25 February

These activities are the 19th missions of short-term experts for achieving Output 1 of the Project, "Identification of a direction of future course of action for enhancing the utilization of VNACCS". The continuous consideration will be conducted, on the basis of the result of the discussion and activities during the mission.
