The meeting is aimed to review the project progress from August 2015 to April 2018 and discuss the key activities to be conducted in the latter half of the project.

Participants agreed the project has made consistent progress towards its goal but believed that it is necessary for the country to get access to and make use of external resources to adapt with the changing context of international support for forestry sector.

To do so, it was shared with the participants that the project would support the country's application for the pilot programme for REDD+ results-based payments implemented by Green Climate Fund[1] , in collaboration with other international donors in the latter half of the project.

SNRM project will manage to accomplish our planned activities in the latter half of the project term for fulfilment of its goal.
