Kick-off meeting
The Project has started on the day of arrival of JICA experts in Viet Nam. Mr. Shoji Matsumoto (Project Coordinator) arrived on December 20, Dr. Koji Wada (Chief Adviser) and Mr. Jun Moriyama (Patient Safety/ Nursing Management) arrived on January 7, respectively.
JICA expert team and Project counterparts headed by Dr. Nguyen Truong Son, Director of Cho Ray Hospital, gathered together to hold a kick-off meeting on January 11.
In the meeting, both sides confirmed the roles and responsibilities of each Japanese Experts and Vietnamese counterparts, and agreed to work cooperatively to conduct the baseline survey that would be launched in the days ahead.
The Project was officially launched from this meeting.
