Dr. Masao Hashimoto, Department of Respiratory Medicine, National Center for Global Health and Medicine, Japan (NCGM), visited Cho Ray Hospital as a JICA short-term expert from April 26 to May 9.

He collaborated with the doctors from the Department of Respiratory Medicine and the Cancer Center in Cho Ray Hospital. He also introduced the model of Tumor Board in Japan during the conference with the doctors, which was aimed to encourage sustained implementation of Tumor Board in Cho Ray Hospital in the future.

It was the very important first step toward the "introduction of multi professional team approach", which was one of the outputs of the Project.
