Ms. Naoko Takahashi, JICA Official Supporter who is a gold medalist in women's marathon at the Sydney Olympics, visited Cho Ray Hospital on January 15 to see the Project site and encourage the JICA experts.

After making a courtesy visit to the Vice Director and the Head of International Affairs Unit of the hospital, Ms. Takahashi looked around the hospital then visited the Project office.

In the meeting with JICA experts, she expressed a great interest in the challenges in the Project activities and provided encouragement to the JICA experts with her inherent cheerfulness.

The mission of "JICA Official Supporter" is to widely introduce JICA's activities to Japanese citizens. The news crew of a Japanese TV station as well as the staff of the Public Relations Division of JICA Head Office also accompanied Ms. Takahashi and filmed her activities on that day.
