Dr. Masao Hashimoto, Department of Respiratory Medicine, National Center for Global Health and Medicine (NCGM), visited Cho Ray Hospital as a short-term expert from May 2 to 9. Following his visit last time in February this year, he conducted activities mainly for promoting the implementation of Tumor Board.

Dr. Hashimoto and the Japanese expert team pursued closer consultations on the manner of operation of Tumor Board with Dr. Pham Thanh Viet, head of General Planning Department, Cho Ray Hospital who is in charge of organizing Tumor Board.

The expert team and the counterparts will continue to discuss how Tumor Board should be managed so as to offer the most appropriate medical care to more patients in Cho Ray Hospital.
