Dr. Ohara, the new chief advisor, arrived

Dr. Hiroshi Ohara, chief advisor of the Project arrived on May 11.

Dr. Ohara has plenty of experience as JICA expert in Viet Nam such as chief advisor of the Project for Bach Mai Hospital (2000.7-2002.7) and policy advisor to Ministry of Health (2004.7-2007.7). This is his third time to stay long-term in Viet Nam.

Dr. Ohara and other JICA experts made a courtesy visit to project counterparts headed by Dr. Nguyen Truong Son, director of Cho Ray Hospital and confirmed the progress of the Project on May 14.

The Project will be conducted thereafter by four long-term experts: Dr. Hiroshi Ohara (Chief Advisor), Ms. Hitomi Kurosu (Infection Control/ Nursing Management), Mr. Jun Moriyama (Patient Safety/ Nursing Management) and Mr. Shoji Matsumoto (Project Coordinator).
