Dr. Satoshi Kutsuna, Disease Control and Prevention Center, NCGM, visited Cho Ray Hospital as a short-term expert from May 10 to 17. Following his visit last time in December 2017, he supported the revision of the guideline for antimicrobial usage and gave advice about the Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee in Cho Ray Hospital.

Dr. Kutsuna listened to opinions from the staff members of each department who are related to antimicrobials, identified the current issues, and discussed the future plan with them.

This time, the Project and the counterparts agreed to publish the revised guideline for antimicrobial usage, which has the updated information of microorganisms, around March 2019.
