Dengue virus detection training course which is one of the activities to strengthen the capacity of laboratory network was organized for three days during 14-16 March, 2018 in Quang Ninh PCPM. The training course was conducted by NIHE staffs with the participation of 12 trainees who are the laboratory staffs from 5 Nothern PCPMs, including 4 staffs from Quang Ninh PCPM and 2 staffs from each other PCPMs/CDCs. In the training course, serological diagnostic test and Real-time PCRmethod were conducted for detection. It was also a good opportunity to communicate closely among PCPMs/CDCs and between PCPMs/CDCs and NIHE. Since Real-time PCR method uses special machine, it is desired to support to each PCPM/CDC in the future. It is necessary for the project to consider this point along with training follow-up plan.
