On October 30 (Thursday), Seminar on "Strategic Planning and Human Resource Development for Cybersecurity" was held in Ho Chi Minh City, sponsored by Ministry of Information and Communication (MIC). JICA Expert, Mr. YAMAZAKI, attended the Seminar and gave an introduction to the on-going JICA project, and explained SecBoK (Security Body of Knowledge) created by the Japan Network Security Association (JNSA) and how to use it in the project. The Authority of Information Security (AIS), VNISA (Vietnam Information Security Association), FPT Corporation, and Viettel were also on stage to discuss issues and solutions for human resource development in cybersecurity. In the presentation by FPT Corporation, there was a comment that they had the same problem in the company about human resource development, using SecBoK seemed to be helpful for internal improvement.
