Security Specialist training for non-technical staff in AIS

Training on the EC-Council Certified Security Specialist (ECSS) certification exam, provided by the EC-Council organization, for primarily non-technical staff in AIS, was conducted once in March 2020 and twice in May 2020.

Although this is the shallowest and broadest security training in the project, some trainees were afraid of that before attending the training because of the "Security Specialist" in the name.

Fortunately, the instructor was very good and trainee-friendly, so they started with the gentle content and gradually moved on to more advanced content while checking their level of understanding.

The training seemed to be fruitful as the trainees updated what they already knew and learned attack techniques and how to protect. Five staff of the first group took the certification exam and four passed. I believe this was the result of continued self-learning through the e-learning system provided after the intensive five-day training. I felt that international certification was a great motivator for the staff to keep learning by themselves.

The project will continue to provide a wide range of training from basic to advanced.
