Courses on Project Management: PMP and CAPM trainings

In August and September 2020, JICA Cybersecurity Project held 3 courses on Project Management for total 21 staff (including senior staff) of the Authority of Information Security. Each course is conducted in 5 days in a row, which ensures the intensive learning from the attendees.

The trainings named PMP (Project management Professional) and CAPM (Certified Associated Project management) bring general and systematic knowledge and guideline (PMBOK: Project Management Body of Knowledge) on project management which are built based on proven traditional practices as well as innovative practices by the Project Management Institute (PMI) in the United State.

The trainees have opportunity to learn how to professionally manage processes of projects, from the first process - project initiating - to the final process - project closing. Management of project-related-elements is also an important part of the trainings, which provides experiences on how to manage and cope with issues on management of project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, etc. Besides, the trainees acquire high-level guidance on when and how to tailor approaches to successfully apply into real situations. The set of skills and practices are considered as essential foundation for AIS staff in charge of projects like JICA-funded-project or other projects conducted in AIS.
