Training in Japan for National Leaders

Training for 19 National Leaders was conducted from 14 to 25 April 2019 in Tokyo and Ehime prefecture, Japan.

The purpose of this training is to 1) foster next-generation leaders for promoting public administrative reform and build a new socio-economic model, and 2) to build a network through exchanging opinions with Japanese stakeholders from the government, business and academic sectors.

Lectures and site visits focused on the three pillars of 1) Good Governance, 2) Economic Development, Industrialization and Modernization, and 3) Leadership and Management skills.

Lectures were conducted by by Professor Emeritus Masahiro HORIE, National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS), and other professors representing each field. Additionally, exchanging opinions with local prefectural government and chambers of commerce were conducted and highly evaluated from Vietnamese trainees.
