Follow-up session for ex-participants of Medium-Term training in 2022

On January 10, the Follow-up session for the Medium-Term Training was held at Department of Training (DOT), Central Committee of Organization and Personnel, Communist Party (CCOP) targeting five (05) Director-General to Vice Director-General level officers. From September 29 to December 23, 2022, they had participated in the training program at National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS) in Japan.

The Follow-up session was held in a hybrid mode of both face-to-face in Hanoi and online from the central and southern regions as participants come from different regions in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Director of DOT, Mr. Mitsuru Otsuka, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam, and others attended the session as well.

The five participants presented the following policy proposals they had produced in Japan:

  1. Solutions for Increasing Usage of Electronic Government Services in Dak Lak Province, Vietnam
  2. Suggest a Comprehensive Foreign Direct Investment Promotion Toolset for Da Nang City
  3. Solutions to Effective Development of Sustainable Urban Railway System in Vietnam (*Co-authored by trainees from Hanoi Metropolitan Railway Management Board and Ho Chi Minh City Railway Management Board)
  4. Market Oriented Approach for Business Development Services in the Quang Tri Organic Rice Value Chain

On behalf of CCOP, Mr. Thanh encouraged the five participants to continue to play an active role in their workplaces and to implement their policy proposals.
