Feasibility Survey for Application of Incinerators for Medical Wastes at Public Hospitals and Health Care Centers in Rural Area

Project Outline A verification survey with the private sector for disseminating Japanese technologies will be plannes, Through this survey, the operation of Japanese inclinerators for medical waste at prefectural/provincial hospitals in key cities in rural areas of Morroco will support the incineration of medical waste following appropriate standards. This is also expected to contribute to decreasing the risk of secondary infection. Additionally, if regulations and a base for dissemination and development for these incinerators can be established, it can be expected to improve medical services that take the hygienic environment into consideration, as well as lead to the spread of Japanese products in advance of European and Chines companies.
