The Publication of the “JICA Sustainability Report 2023”

On December 8, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) released the “JICA Sustainability Report 2023”.
Amidst the growing global interest in and actions on sustainability-related issues, including the achievement of the SDGs, measures to combat climate change, the conservation of nature and its resources, and the protection of human rights, JICA has been publishing its Sustainability Report since 2021.
The “JICA Sustainability Report 2023” introduces data and activities related to the sustainability management, in accordance with the basic approaches of international disclosure standards such as those of the TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures) recommendations.
In particular, with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) at the core, the content of the report has been enhanced by adding JICA's initiatives in the social field along with those in the climate change field.
JICA continues to work cohesively for the realization of a sustainable world, while further strengthening the relationship of trust with its stakeholders.
