Signing of Grant Agreement with Sudan: Contributing to a safe and sustainable water supply through procurement of equipment for operation and maintenance of the water supply system

On December 20, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Sudan inKhartoum, to provide grant aid of up to 1.004 billion yen for The Project for Improvement of Operation and Maintenance of the Water Supply System.
Under this project, the water supply will be improved through procurement and installation of equipment for operation and maintenance of a safe and sustainable water supply system. It is expected to contribute to improvement of the living environment in target areas. This project will contribute to the achievement of SDGs Goal 6.
