Signing of Grant Agreement with Fiji: Contributing to the Safety of Aircraft Operations through the Maintenance of Air Traffic Control and Safety Facilities at Five Airports

On September 18th, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed a grant agreement with the Government of the Republic of Fiji in Suva, the capital city, to provide grant aid for the Project for Improvement of Aviation Safety Facilities at Major Airports.

The objective of the Project is to ensure aviation safety at five major airports through procurement and installation of facilities for aircraft surveillance system and/or airport fire trucks and/or rescue boats, thereby contributing to sustainable development of the country.
