JICA-RI Holds a Joint Meeting in Beijing with Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation (CAITEC)

On May 14th, JICA-RI and Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation held a meeting in Beijing to discuss the possibilities of joint research, with focus on exchanging views between the two institutes.

JICA-RI were represented by Director Akio Hosono, Deputy Director Hiroshi Kato, and Research Program Division Director Go Shimada, with Deputy Director General Mitake from JICA Headquarters’ East and Central Asia Department and Chief Representative Nakagawa from JICA China Office, all attending the meeting.

Both sides talked of the possibilities of cooperation of common interests in their research areas, at the same time deepening mutual understanding on the activities of both institutes.
