Gender Awareness Session at JICA PNG Office

Last week, Ms. Fiona Silo, officer at the JICA PNG Office, led an insightful session on gender issues for three newly arrived volunteers. Given PNG’s low gender equality index, the lecture aimed to raise awareness and promote inclusive perspectives in their upcoming activities.
The volunteers listened attentively and engaged actively, showing strong interest in understanding the challenges and opportunities related to gender issues in PNG.
Together, we move toward a more equitable future.
