Publication of the First Book Translated into English in the Project History Series: A Memoir of a Japanese Development Practitioner: In Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The JICA Ogata Sadako Research Institute for Peace and Development (JICA Ogata Research Institute) is publishing the "Project History Series," which reviews JICA's projects to date and analyzes their trajectories and outcomes. Among the 25 Japanese-language installments published in this series so far, "A Memoir of a Japanese Development Practitioner: In Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina" is the first translated work in English; it is intended to reach a wider international audience.

The publication analyzes an unprecedented peace-building project led by JICA to promote ethnic reconciliation and post-conflict rehabilitation by offering agricultural assistance following the Bosnian conflict.

The publication can be downloaded in PDF format from the link below. The JICA Ogata Research Institute will continue to publish English-language texts in this series.
