Reporting Session of Ph.D Fellows in Engineering

On May 6, 2019, JICA Cambodia Office organized the reporting session for three fellows of the ASEAN University Network/Southeast Asia Engineering Education Development Network (AUN/SEED-NET) who obtained Ph.D. in Engineering in Japan to share their academic life and experiences that they gained during their stay in Japan. They felt very impressed and proud of their success and accomplishment. Particularly, they have high commitment to producing human resources, and promoting research capacities at the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) in engineering field through various means in order to have sustainable development of socioeconomics in Cambodia, including JICA's ongoing projects with ITC.

The AUN/SEED-NET Project started in 2003, supported by the Government of Japan through JICA, Member Institutions, and Member Governments aims at advancing the education and research capacities of leading higher education institutions for engineering in the region through collaboration and solidarity between the institutions industrial sectors in ASEAN and Japan. Approximately, 222 Cambodian have obtained Ph.D. or Master Degree from Universities in Japan as of May 2019.
