Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Construction of Teacher Education College (TEC) in Phnom Penh

H.E. Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport and H.E. Hidehisa HORINOUCHI, Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia presided over the Ground Breaking Ceremony for the Construction of Teacher Education College (TEC) in Phnom Penh on May 7, 2019.

The Grant Aid Project covers the construction of academic block, administration block, science and art lab, library, assembly hall, and provision of modern lab equipment. In addition, it is expected to complete by October 2020.

The TEC in Phnom Penh will play crucial roles in providing per-service BA degree and other in-service trainings with high quality of teacher education in Cambodia. We strongly hope that the graduates from TECs will contribute to improving the quality of general education in the future.
