The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will convene a high-level side event on the Nutrition for Growth (N4G) Summit in Tokyo for 2021, to take place on Tuesday, 7 December 2021 from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Tokyo(JST). The event will be held in online meeting, with global development partners, practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and private sectors working on nutrition improvement around the world.
The purpose of the event will be to share commitments of nutrition actions for addressing the double burden of malnutrition through the realization of collective impact. In addition, the partners will ensure the collaboration with other partners, aiming for a world where life, livelihood and human dignity of people living in developing countries are protected and all people can live humane life.
The event will include opening remarks by Ms. Sano, DG and the first keynote speech by the president of JICA, Dr. Kitaoka, followed by a high-level panel discussion. After the panel, speakers will be given the opportunity to exchange views, followed by closing remarks.
