Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) signed Record of Discussions (R/D) for a Technical Cooperation Project "Project for Flood Control Master Plan toward Disaster Risk Reduction Investment" with the Government of the Republic of Indonesia on October 26th, 2021.

The project aims at institutional capacity enhancement of the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in terms of planning and imlementation of flood control Master Plan including on-the-job training through formulation of the Master Plan in the pilot river basins.
By strengthening the capacity of formulating the flood control Master Plan, we expect investment will be increased and thus contributing to the reduction of flood risk in Indonesia.
