On the 12th of July 2019, handover ceremony of equipment for the distance Education (DE) held at the Training Center within joint project of State Tax Service under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic (STS) and JICA in the framework of the Human Recourse Development project for STS.

The introduction of DE will allow employees of STS branches to gain knowledge related to amendments and innovations in the national tax legislation using technical capabilities of modern gadgets.

"Before we organized trainings in training center in Bishkek for 2 week or 1 month and had to invite staff, but now we can provide information by using distance education, without taking off them from main job". – stated Karagul uulu Zhakyp, State secretary of STS.

Main goal of the project is to improve the development of the personnel potential of STS and increase tax literacy of the population through introduction of distance learning.
