On 19th of August 2019 a new Chairman of State Tax Service (STS) and JICA Representatives had a meeting to discuss the current status and the future plan of "Project on Improvement of Human Resource Development System of the State Tax Service (STS)" at the Central Office of STS.

The new Chairman expressed his willingness and desire to assist in strengthening and implementing the project. "Distance learning system itself is a noble mission. Also I can say initiative and creativity are my credo" – stated Kabyl Abdaliev, STS Chairman.

The Chief Representative of the JICA office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Nemoto Naoyuki, expressed appreciation for the active involvement of the employees and expressed confidence in continued success of the project activities.
