Major Projects in Mongolia

JICA has been working together with the Mongolian University of Agriculture and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture to improve diagnostic techniques for animal infectious diseases since 1997. Initially, we focused on the diagnostic techniques of the researchers, made sure that their techniques reached a certain level, and then encouraged the researchers to transfer their techniques to working level veterinarians. From 2006, in-country training course is implemented to train Aimag level veterinarians for capacity building in diagnostic techniques.
