Major Projects in Mongolia

This project targets the Ugii nuur, a lake close to Ulaanbaatar that attracts many tourists and is designated as a wetland of international importance under the Ramsar Convention. Along with the local community, the project is conducting research activities and ecological education. The results of the research will be the Support Center, to be jointly constructed with the Mongolian side, in order to increase environmental awareness among the wetland visitors and tourists, and preserve the wetland for sustainable use without diminishing its lush vegetation.
