Cassiopeia Nkani

The JICA Project for strengthening Management Capacity of the General Hospitals in Lusaka District would like to keep you informed and updated on the project's activities and impact in the targeted five hospitals in Lusaka - Chawama General Hospital, Chilenje General Hospital, Chipata General Hospital, Kanyama General Hospital and Matero General Hospital.

Against the foregoing, we will be sharing a monthly digital newsletter dubbed Cassiopeia Nkani.

Cassiopeia is borrowed from astronomy, it is a constellation of the northern sky easily recognized by a group of five bright stars, while Nkani means news in Nyanja, a local dialect in Zambia.

In our case, the five stars with Cassiopeia are the five targeted hospitals and it is through this project that we want 5 hospital as a "5-star hospital" to SHINE BRIGHT and BEAUTIFULLY by enhancing their services and systems for a happy and healthier community.
