The Chief Representative of JICA Cambodia office, Mr. Sugano participated a training course for rice seed production and encouraged the participants (Seed Producer Groups) together with H.E. Dr. Ngin Chhay, Director General of General Directorate of Agriculture, MAFF. This is a part of the "RSPP Project" aiming to produce high-quality rice seed efficiently. Farmers who participated in the training were interested in obtaining new skills to improve the quality of rice seed in order to produce more competitive rice.
