Project Outline The objective of the Project is to enhance the capacity of Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation for promoting flood control projects by assessing flood hazard and risk, formulating a comprehensive flood control plan that contribute to reduce flood risk, and establishing an implementation mechanism within the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation in Terai 7 river basin.
