JICA President Shinichi Kitaoka held talks with Philippines President Rodrigo Roa Duterte on Oct. 27 in Tokyo.
The talks began with Mr. Duterte expressing thanks for JICA's cooperation toward the Philippines. The two men then discussed future cooperation plans.
JICA plans to continue its cooperation to the Philippines in various sectors, including maritime assistance, building high-quality infrastructure and supporting peace in Mindanao.
