JICA President Held Talks With African Development Bank President

JICA President Shinichi Kitaoka held talks with African Development Bank President Akinwumi Adesina at JICA headquarters in Tokyo on Oct. 28. Mr. Adesina visited Japan as part of his follow-up to the sixth Tokyo International Conference for African Development (TICAD VI).

The talks began with Mr. Adesina offering his congratulations for the success of TICAD VI and expressing his thanks for the launch of the Enhanced Private Sector Assistance for Africa (EPSA) 3 initiative*. The two men then discussed plans for future cooperation.

JICA will continue its partnership with the African Development Bank and strengthening its initiatives in Africa.
