JICA President Shinichi Kitaoka held talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan on Nov. 26 in Tokyo. It was Mr. Kitaoka's third meeting with King Abdullah, after meetings in January and October of 2016.

The talks began with King Abdullah expressing gratitude for JICA's cooperation in Jordan and they discussed the economic and fiscal reform in Jordan and the situation in surrounding regions.

JICA will continue the cooperation to contribute to Jordan's social and economic development, as well as the cooperation for both Syrian refugees and the host communities.
