JICA President Kitaoka Holds Talks With Rwandan President Kagame

JICA President Shinichi Kitaoka held talks with Rwandan President Paul Kagame in Tokyo on Jan. 8.

Mr. Kagame thanked Mr. Kitaoka for JICA's cooperation toward Rwanda and said he looks forward to stronger ties between the two countries. The two men discussed the reforms Mr. Kagame promoted in 2018 as the chairperson of the African Union, partnerships needed to achieve the SDGs in Africa and JICA's cooperation for human resource development, among other matters.

JICA is committed to continuing its cooperation toward Rwanda in fields including economic , social and human resource development.
