Feasilibity Survey for Rehabilitation of Intake Weir by Inflatable Rubber Dam Technology

Project Outline The objective of the feasibility survey is to increase the food self-sufficiency ratio and income of rural area the main target of Indonesia. There are 40 Rubber Dam sites built in 1990s by Japanese ODA and to rehabilitate such sites will be the most efficient way to contribute to the target of Indonesia.
Rehabilitation of existing dam sites does not requires acquisition of the land and give no environmental impact but shows quick and clear result to distribute water for irrigation. To rehabilitate previous ODA project means to show the ODA from Japan is sustainable ODA in the future.
