Volunteers

Japan Oversees Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) was launched in Uzbekistan in 2000. In 2001 Senior Volunteers (SV) Program was launched. Till present (as of April 1, 2024) 362 volunteers (277 JOCV and 85 SV) were dispatched to Uzbekistan and currently 19 volunteers work in the following fields: Rugby, Public Health Nursing, Physical Therapy, Japanese Language Education, Tourism, Community development, Youth activity, IT, Business Administration, Marketing etc.
