UNFCCC, International, Regional and Domestic Meetings and Forum

SPI-NAMA provides various technical support and communication activities at relevant forums and meetings both domestically and internationally, including UNFCCC in view of facilitating capacity enhancement of GoV to plan and implement mitigation actions including NAMAs/NDC.

1. Engagement in UNFCCC, International and Regional Meetings and Forum

  • Side Event 1: Domestic Effort and Practical Lessons to Perfect NDC Readiness
  • Side Event 2: Lessons from Enhancing City's Technical Capacities towards Climate Planning and Implementation
  • Side Event 3: Recommendations to capacity building activities on the national GHG inventory in non-Annex I parties

1. Designing JICA Climate Change Policy brief

SPI-NAMA project, in collaboration with the Office for Climate Change, Global Environment Department of JICA, has analyzed and taken stock of achievements in the field of global cooperation on climate change. The lessons extracted from the SPI-NAMA project provides insights into the following topics:

2. Media (TV Programme)

On December 18, 2017, the Chief Advisor of the Project was broadcasted on a private cable TV programme: "JICA supports Vietnam in greenhouse gas emission reduction". He explained the Project activities and its significance on Vietnam's NDC and the Project's low carbon technology assessment.
