Volunteers

Japan Oversees Cooperation Volunteers (JOCV) or junior volunteers program was launched in Uzbekistan in 2000. In 2001 Senior Volunteers (SV) Program was launched. Till present (as of November 1, 2017) 298 volunteers (225 JOCV and 73 SV) were dispatched to Uzbekistan and currently 32 volunteers work in the following fields: Volleyball, Rugby, Karate, Aikido, Public Health Nursing, Physical Therapy, Japanese Language Education, PC Instructor, Tourism, Financial Service, Business Administration etc.
