Project Summary

Objective:
DPHE's comprehensive management capacity for Rural and Pourashava Water Supply Service is enhanced

Outputs:

1. Comprehensive Technical Guideline on Water Supply for Rural and Pourashava is prepared.
2. The information system on rural and Pourashava Water Supply is strengthened.
3. The mid and long term plan aligned with the sector development plan is prepared.
4. Improve technical capability in developing water source and in selecting feasible technological options.
5. Establish monitoring framework for operational status and water quality of the installed water supply facilities

Project Site

Applicable for all over the country specially 1) Gravel problem area, 2) Arsenic contaminated area, 3) Saline problem area, 4) No aquifer area, and 5) Low groundwater table area
