Mr. Yoshifumi Omura, Chief Representative of JICA Egypt Office attended the Arab Monetary Fund's high-level seminar "The Role of Cross Border Payments in Fostering Regional Integration" and made a presentation titled "Enhancing Financial Inclusion: Potentials of Small Scale Financial Products and Transaction". During his presentation, Mr. Omura delivered key messages including: (1) the growing potential market demand of small-scale financial products, (2) Importance of investing in human capital, and (3) Growing role of fintech, through summarizing the outcomes of the microsinraunce project in Egypt. The seminar was attended by officials of the Arab governments, central banks, fintech companies and international institutions including the World Bank, European Central Bank, GIZ and JICA.
