| Project Outline | The objective of the Project is to promote the development of safe and resilient urban environments and enhance the quality of life, sustainable urban development, and disaster resilience in Ecuador by providing financing and support, through the Development Bank of Ecuador (BDE), to local governments (GADs) nationwide in the sectors of citizen security and disaster risk management, including urban infrastructure development, improvement of safety in public spaces, introduction of digital technologies, and strengthening of disaster risk reduction infrastructure and institutional capacity. |
