Project Outline The objective of the Project is to ensure a stable electricity supply in eastern Bhutan and to strengthen interregional power interconnections, including cross-border connectivity, by constructing 400 kV transmission lines and substations commensurate with the increased power generation capacity, thereby contributing to connected power system stability and sustainable economic growth.
